Beaver Dam!

Wonder why the water level is so high on Lake Nipmuc this year? 

Wally built a rock bridge across this stream years ago and although it let much of the water through, it worked well as a foot bridge for hikers. 

But take a look at it now!  It's pretty much a solid dam!  This thing is packed with mud grass sticks you name it!

The red dotted line shows my guess of the approximate locations of footpaths taken to reach the beaver dam.  Beaver dam location is circled.
