Hi all, Here is some information on the CLF, CRWA lawsuit against Mass Highway. The part about Spy Pond sounds very much like what is happening with Lake Nipmuc. The CLF lawyer handling the case is Cynthia Liebman who has a very impressive resume.

I was invited to the Lieutenant Governor's listening tour meeting Friday night at the Steak House and spoke to Rep. Fernandes about the problem. He asked me to hold off on sending the pictures to CLF, to send them, with a description of the problem, to him instead and he will see what he can do. I suppose I could give that a chance and if nothing happens, still go with CLF.

Terry Beaudoin (DEP, BRWA), you will recall, at Peter Coffin's request, tried to get some action from DEP. Watershed Chief Phil Nadeau's response was totally inadequate. He said to make Mass Highway aware of the problem. I shot back a message that, with all due respect, our Highway Surveyor has made them "aware of the problem" many, many times over the last ten years with no results.
